Tailfeather Ranch and Kennels is a small kennel. We only breed a few litters per year and we have structured our breeding program to produce exceptional quality shooting dogs that will perform in the field and show ring. Our foundation dogs come from very well-rounded lineages and have excellent conformation, temperament and retrieving abilities.
Tailfeather puppies are born and raised in the house, with lots of care and love (and play!). They are socialized to sights, sounds and obstacles, including stairs, bumpers, birds, adult dogs, cats, horses, humans and children.
| Our puppies are sold on a
contract basis, a $200 deposit is required to reserve a puppy. The
Chesapeakes come with a written guarantee on both hips and eyes. All
puppies are vet checked by a licensed Veterinarian. Dew claws removed
at three to five days of age, four worm treatments and a full round of
puppy vaccinations, including parvo, will be given prior to going to
their new homes. A full pedigree, AKC registration and written
guarantee is sent with every puppy. |
